At Gateway Pharmacy we have developed a reputation for providing excellent patient care and customer service. Our staff is well trained and are always willing to ensure our customers’ needs are met.

In addition to prescription drugs, we provide over the counter drugs, gift and personal items. It should be noted that we also stock many hard to find prescriptions drugs and we also provide delivery through our various partners as well as an online payment system.

We have found that our online payment system is very convenient as the individual paying may do so safely from anywhere in the world and thereby allowing a relative or loved one to collect their medications or other purchases at the pharmacy.

The current chapter of the pharmacy’s history began in 2016, the then owner was selling the business and I decided to make an offer to purchase. I had limited experience with running a business, but I was up for the challenge. There was no downtime, the transition happened on the go, I retained the same staff and decided to gradually make the requisite changes. In fact, I had previously worked as a pharmacist at Gateway and so, many of our customers did not even realize at first that there had been a change in ownership.

At Gateway Pharmacy, we strive to constantly educate our patients abour their medications in an effort to improve compliance with taking the medication. In light of that I am excited to announce that I have written a patient handbook; Labels Explained which will be launched during the observation of Pharmacy week (November 19 to 25, 2023). It is intended that this handbook will help patients to be more compliant with taking of their medications and in turn lead to better overall patient outcomes.
